Hubud's Programs - T&C
To book a program, an upfront, non-refundable deposit of US$ 100 must be paid. The upfront payment is a part of the total amount and will be deducted from the remaining balance.
The upfront payment may be paid in cash, by PayPal, credit card (via PayPal), by bank transfer (all bank charges paid by participant) upon receiving an invoice from Hubud.
The balance (90%) is due four weeks before the beginning of the program.
The participant is considered registered when the upfront payment and the registration form has been received and approved by Hubud.
Hubud reserves the right to deny registrations. This will be communicated to the student when applying for registration.
You agree to pay for all products and services that you purchase through Hubud and you agree that we may charge your selected payment method, either directly or through the services of a third-party payment processor, for any such payments. Only those payment methods accepted by our third-party payment processor can be used to purchase products, goods, or services through Hubud.
Hubud may provide refunds at its discretion. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to refund fees paid to us. See our refund and cancellation policy for more information.
The cost of your program includes:
- Your tuition fees for the duration of the program
- all other inclusions listed on the relevant program page
You will need to bring your own laptop to work on but we will provide any additional necessary equipment. Check the technical requirements with your program tutor (check the program page on our website) to ensure your laptop meets them.
All our programs are delivered in English.
We will send you frequent emails in the lead up to your program. Please reply to them promptly. Failure to provide us with information means we may have to refuse you admission to the program.
Your instructors may ask for information, such as your email address, from you to help facilitate the provision of the program. Instructors are required to use this information only to communicate about program materials in a professional manner.
Cancellation and refund policy
If the cancellation is received at least 60 days before the booked program start date, 50 percent of the upfront payment (minus the non-refundable deposit) and possible administration costs) will be refunded.
If the cancellation is received in less than 60 days before the booked program start date there will be no refund.
Costs for programs or parts of a program missed due to illness, early departure, delayed arrival, etc. will not be refunded.
We are not liable for the cost of your flight in the event of a cancellation.
We do not provide refunds under situations that are “acts of nature” or fully out of our control.
Students accept that Hubud may take photos and videos during classes and/or various activities for promotional purposes. If a student †disagrees, he/she will have to notify it to Hubud when registering for classes.
With your consent, we may use the work you create during a Hubud program to promote Hubud. In this case we will seek your explicit approval prior to using it.
Participants are wholly responsible for arranging their own insurance. A suitable insurance policy should provide adequate cover for medical expenses arising through illness or accident prior to or during the holiday and loss of holiday monies through cancellation and curtailment of the holiday for insurable reasons. It is assumed by Hubud that all group members have full medical insurance when travelling to Indonesia, and Hubud bears no legal responsibility for financial or other costs resulting from a lack of insurance or other reasons.
Visas & Vaccinations
Participants must ensure that they are aware of all relevant passport and visa requirements and that they allow adequate time to obtain them. Please note that many countries require that passports are valid for six months beyond the period of the Participant’s stay. Requirements can change and it is the Participants’ responsibility to ensure that they comply with current passport, visa and health requirements and take all necessary documents with them to gain access to Indonesia. The Participant will be solely responsible for any cost, loss or damage which he or Hubud incurs as a result of a failure to obtain all necessary passports, visas and/or vaccinations.
It is the Participants’ responsibility to ensure that they do not behave in a way which causes offence or danger to others or which risks damage to property belonging to others. Hubud will not be liable for any refunds, payment of compensation or reimbursement of any cost or expenses incurred as a result. Further, the Participant will be liable to reimburse Hubud for any expenses whatsoever that it incurs as a result of such behaviour.
All Participants are expected to obey the laws and regulations of Indonesia and any failure to do so will relieve Hubud of all obligations that it may otherwise have under the Contract.
We are not liable for the cost of your flight in the event of a cancellation or any other case. Any changes in schedule that occur as a result of flight delays/cancellations are not the responsibility of Hubud, although we will do anything we can to try to help you.
